Lionel Belet, former head designer for IDC and seven-time winner of the prestigious Silmo d’Or design prize, lives and works in Marseille. Marseille gives his eyewear collection XIT its warm, playful and varied colours, prints and shapes. The most recent series of glasses is printed with lyrics from Neil Young, the Beatles and other pop icons along with poetry from Charles Baudelaire’s “Les fleurs du Mal” (The Flowers of Evil) give you a true feeling of excitement. The XIT glasses are playful, classic and trendy all at once, but without losing that French ‘je ne sais quoi’.
